Question About Honeywell Thermostat 8000
Replacing Batteries...

Honeywell programmable "Chronotherm" Wall thermostat....(It's an old model) can't locate any screws on it to take the cover off of it to replace the 3 AA Batteries, It says to locate a screw in the lower bottom corners to remove it from the base........can't find any screws in that area......any ideas about the removal to replace batteries? ............jim

5 I found how to take the front cover off to replace the 3 AAA batteries....The screws were missing at the lower corners, that's why I couldn't find them....all I had to do was flip the bottom of the front cover up and it released itself!.........Thanks anyway.........Jim
