I have RLV310 thermostat with 2 black wires. old ...

I have RLV310 thermostat with 2 black wires. old thermostat has 2 red, and 2 black wires. coming out of wall, 2 black and 2 white wires. how do i connect new thermostat

0 I have manual. just has a picture which does not help. are any wires just capped and not connected to thermostat? if so which ones? if not, what to do?
