I have a 30-40 year old Honeywell humidistat and need to connect a new Honeywell non-programmable 5100 (Lowes) thermostat to it (or disable the humidistat entirely). can you tell me how to connect the thermostat and humidistat OR how to remove/disable the humidistat? I have a 40 yr. old Carrier pancake air handler and a 2 ton Carrier condensing unit. THANK YOU!
