I do not want to program it. I want it to read the actual room temperature when I look at it and then I want to press the warmer/cooler pads to set the temperature I want it to go to and when I am ready to turn it down I will do it manually. I have a similar problem with the downstairs one...I think I have to erase the 'program' mode to do this and I don't know how...our lives are very erratic so I want to change temperatures manually as the day goes
