Good Day!! Pls advise on the back light on Honeyw...

Good Day!! Pls advise on the back light on Honeywell Pro TH4000 Series temperature control center. Light comes only for a brief second then goes off. Is it possible to program light to say on while unit is on & running, or to leave light on unit permanent? My eye sight is poor. Rachel7.11@ verizon.net
