hi my programmer was set to auto and was in a none timed...

hi my programmer was set to auto and was in a none timed period, the room temperature was well over 5 degrees, the display had opt showing and the central heating came on. can you please tell me what this means and how i stop it. thanks john johnfrearson555@sky.com
