Question About Holmes Humidifier HM1895
HM1895 rubber washer...

can you tell me where to get the rubber washer that goes on the refill cap, it stops water from leaking when you fill it and carry it to the humidifiere, model HM1895

5 I have the 1855 model with the same problem. I went to my local hardware store and and bought a generic rubber washer. I thought I might have to cut it down because it was larger the the original washer, but it worked fine as is. I recommend bring the old washer and the plunger (and even the cap) with you to help determine the correct diameter and hole size.

1 We check our filter often and find out that it is dry except of about 3 inches that is in the water troth. We would like to kow why it does not keep absorbed oro soaked with water ;
