Can I place a heater on a carpeted surface and still use it ?So I bought this new Holmes heater to heat up my room. It's one of those heater where it takes in air and heats it up and shoots it out. it is not a radiated heater. But the floor is carpeted is it safe to place it on the floor and use it, I am scared it might caught on fire or something. I know it's safe to use a heater like that on a hard floor, like wooden, but is it safe to use it on carpeted.
