Fireplace installed in July. When not in use will sometimes start light low beeping. Underneath found leaking corroded batteries. Cleaned & replaced but new did same. Called technician who worked on it for a while-said we didn't need that battery box. Disconnected it. No wall switch- the remote works well. Can stop beeping by going through the 3 modes-- on, thermo, off. Sound will start sometimes within an hour and sometimes it will be quiet for weeks. Model # 6000GL-IPI-S dentom@gmail.com
