Question About Hearth and Home Technologies Indoor Fireplace BE-36-CIPI
BE-36-CIPI Natural Gas Fireplace...

Just bought a new home with this model FP, and it won't light. Gas is on, ignitor is sparking but no flame. The lighting instructions gives the process for turning off and re-lighting, but it talks about an on-off switch that I cannot find; all I have is the wall on-off switch. Any hints before I call the repairman?

1 When I turn the key on, and then the light swicth on the wall, the pilot light come on. The heater lights. But then it goes out. Why does it keep going off?

0 the switch is the two wires coming out of wire harness i think they are brown connect them together the switch is on or connect them to a regular light switch

0 sounds like your not getting gas make sure your not blocking the gas ports with the ember rocks and your getting proper gas supply leave the switch on a few seconds
