5 The status light is an error code telling you what to look at, count blinks, listings in manual. Most common problem is lack of proper cleaning. will post manual shortly.Clean out under the burn pot. Put into test and see if ignitor gets hot if not you need a new ignitor. In the mean time you can start with gelled pellet starter and set board to manual mode
