The wire gets real hot after being on for awhile.....

The wire gets real hot after being on for awhile...had it for last winter and was fine then.

0 The wire gets real hot after being on for awhile...had it for last winter and was fine then. I have cleaned out the vent thoroughly and it still shuts off and does not come back on.
