Have found that unit is unusable because it is remote control only and communication between fan/light has been severed. Husband took fan/light apart and unit responded to remote up close, but will not respond from normal (floor) distance.Do you know what the problem is and what is the solution? We have two of these units side by side, but only one of them is problematic.
