Question About Hampton Bay Fan AC-560F820
I moved into a house with a Hampton Bay fan model ...

I moved into a house with a Hampton Bay fan model # AC-560F820. They lost the remote and the ceiling is 15 feet high. Not accessible. I ordered a new remote and it arrived with no instructions on setting it up. I assume I need to adjust the dip switches to match the fan. If I can't get to the fan, do I just try different dip switch settings in the remote to see if I can get it to work?
