CFLs flicker after the unit is turned off with Hampton Bay remote. I have to turn power off at switch to get it to stop, otherwise is constant. I have tried two remotes. Is it the bulbs or unit?

0 There is a little switch I believe under the battery cover of the remote (transmitter, the one with the buttons). That switches between CFL and condescent lighting. Basically with a condescent light bulb you can dim the lights with the remote. CFL bulbs do not handle dimmer switches well.
