We have a HR60D1VAR outdoor unit and have been told we have to add some parts to make it operate in cold temperatures. Temperature never goes below -8 c. Will it freezes in colder weather? Manager says he has trouble in cold times. Repair man can add a defrost board and sensors and it will fix it. I thought being outside for a few years now that it had it's defrost board and sensors?
