Question About Haier Dehumidifier HD656, HD456E

Haier 656E- I'm trying to determine what the open/close valve is on the back of the unit and where it should be set.

0 If you mean the round cap on the back of the unit, it is aremovable plug to remove when you attach the drain hose through the unit from the bucket so the hose can be run from the bucket out to a drain.
