Question About GTI Indoor Fireplace None
Model 4000 GDV...

The glass on my GIT fireplace Model 4000 just shattered one day as the fireplace was on. I check the vent outside and nothing is blocking it. Maybe just old age (is 18 years old). Can I just replace the glass -- or is this a sign of a bigger problem? Where would I get this glass? I would really appreciate any help you can provide. It's freezing in here without it.

5 Unfortunately I also shattered my GTI 4000INS fireplace glass and looking for a supplier. If you find a supplier please let me know and I will do the same if I find. Thanks and good luck.

3 To Nizar -- I found out this is a Heat and Glo ... you can find a Heat and Glo supplier. They are everywhere. It's the same model number -- Heat and Glow 4000. Glass is about $220

0 The glass shattered on my model 6000 GDV. It is about 17 - 18 years old and has been operating fine. what may have caused the glass to shatter and where can I order a replacement?

0 You can get the glass from Heat & glo for $500 or go to your local glass cutting store and pay $28 for the same thing, did it in Seattle. Can't find the sealing tape to install the glass
