Got m#ST-GDV, s# STDVN2415. Remote doesn't work @ ...

Got m#ST-GDV, s# STDVN2415. Remote doesn't work @ all. Have to manual ignite pilot by pushing button. Then turn knob to ignite full flame. Which isn't happening. Pilot light just comes on after pushing button
