4 Genie GWKP/ACSD1G Garage Door Opener Wireless Keypad To clear the codes. Press and hold the following buttons: 1) PROG 2) 6 3) Up-Down key Then let go To program the keypad Open the keypad remote control cover fully and set the personal identification number (PIN) by pressing 3, 5 and 7, followed by the "Prog" button. Observe the red LED blinking once per second. Enter a three- to eight-character PIN. Press the "Prog" button to exit and observe the red LED blinking twice per second and then turning off. Close the cover. Look at the motor housing for the garage door opener and locate the "Learn Code" button and red LED near the black antenna wire. If no antenna can be seen hanging from the door opener, an external receiver is being used and can be located by searching the garage for a black box approximately 6 inches by 2 inches with an antenna hanging outside. Remove the cover of the external receiver. Press the "Learn Code" button and observe the red LED flashing. Enter the PIN on the keypad remote control and press the "Up/Down" button (picture of two triangles) on the keypad. The "Learn Code" button red LED light on the garage door opener stays lit. Press the "Up/Down" button on the keypad remote again. The "Learn Code" button red LED light goes out.. Test the keypad by entering the PIN and pushing the "Up/Down" button.
