Question About Genie Garage Door Opener 1/2 HP ISL 950/A
The screw wont spin when required to lift the door...

The screw wont spin when required to lift the door. Looks like the stop sensor failed and the carraige hit the motor assembly. Seems like the screw drive disengages from the motor/coupler as a result. What keeps the drive screw from pulling out of the drive system?
