I have a Genie blue max CM 8500 8S garage door opener. I lost the remote, but had it programmed in my car. I just bought a new car so bought a Genie remote control but it won't work. It has 12 remote code switches and my Genie owner's manual says mine also has 12 code switches but when I went up and looked, there were only 8. What do I do?
