How do determine 12 switch settings...

I do not understand how to determine the 12 switch settings for the remote control for the Genie G5050 Garage Door Opener. I cannot locate a manual. Can anyone help

5 Drop the white bulb cover on the motor. Just to the left of the left bulb socket is an opening with the same 12 settings as you will find in the interior of the remote(s). They can be toggled to whatever settings you desire. As long as they match you're good to go!i
