For my Genie 5050 I want to program a remote keyle...

For my Genie 5050 I want to program a remote keyless entry pad. The directions ask for DIP Switch information in order to enter an ID to program the pad. I am at a total loss as to what this is or where to find it. Any help would be appreciated.
