Just purchased a foreclosed house with a Genie PMX500IC/B garage door opener. Can't seem to find anywhere which replacement opener to purchase and if I can change the code to the opener. Thanks!

5 I also bought a foreclosed house with a Genie PMX500IC/B garage door opener. I got garage door openers at Lowes Home Center that work great. They are Genie model GICT390. There were two kinds of Genie openers at Lowes - this was the smaller one with just a single oval button in the middle. My 15 year old followed the directions that came with them and got them working in a few minutes. BTW, it took me awhile to figure out that the openers on the wall have a "vacation lock" that keeps the doors from opening from some kind of random RF while you are away. The bank we bought the house from apparently flipped the switch to activate the vacation locks. Initially I thought the garage door opening mechanism didn't work.
