0 Actually this is a screw drive machine. There is a latching system that holds the door to the screw. By design, this has a softer metal than the screw and will wear out after a number of years, depending on usage. It is a simple replacement part that can be installed in five minutes to get the door operating again. The part is in the manual, let me know if you need more help.
