5 Sounds like bad elements. There should be 2. They should humm when they are heating. One on top where a removal plate is one on bottom. Listen for the humm . If none shut off the power and change. Also probably wouldn't hurt to shut off the water and drain the rank at the same time because this will be needed plus it will get sediment out of the tank. The next thing is... Did you connect the cold line to the cold and hot to the hot because it sounds like you have them reversed. (Maybe)
