Question About GE Water Heater SG40S12CVG
Flame Out...

My water tank is approx 4-5 years old. It is installed next to the natural gas furnace, and the furnace is ok. The flame went out in the hot water tank, if it sits for a while I am able to get the pilot light going but as soon as I turn on the burner it goes out. Could the thermal coupler be causing the problem?
