Question About GE Water Heater SG40T12XA
Date range of manufacture?...

The "sticker" (versus a nameplate) that was on the water heater that contained the serial number was partially torn off and I have no idea what the serial number is for warranty coverage. I was wondering what date range this model was made.

0 Our SG40T12XA is dated 1996 and quit this morning! We got 17 years of good use with no problems from this quality water heater.
