I have a digital wireless weather system GE GE58...

I have a digital wireless weather system GE GE5805WS6 and it needs new batteries in the remote [outside] sensor. My husband always changed them, but he is gone now. Do I use a regular alkaline battery? Thank you very much! Gerry
