Question About GE Smoke Alarm None
replacing battery in smoke detector...

I can't get the "beeping" to stop once I've replaced the old battery with a new battery...what am I doing wrong...the smoke detector came with the home...the builder didn't leave any manuals with the home...I have these detectors in EVERY room!
