pilot light went out overnight. I relit the pilo...

pilot light went out overnight. I relit the pilot and turned on the burner switch. The burners kicked on but I heard a slight groaning noise like a motor might not be turning on. Could it be the blower or does this furnace (vintage 1979) have an air inducer also.
