I have a general electric mod # blu080F936A0 that I bought a hunter thermostat model # 44260. I had put a honeywell intermittent pilot retrofit kit mod# Y8610U 4001 previously. The thermostat does not control the unit. As soon as I plug the whole system into power , after a few seconds the heater lights up will not go off until I unplug it Did I do anything wrong. I think I've checked and rechecked the wires , but to no avail. Help.
