I'm a building maintenance tech, I would like to know how to calibrate a thermostat for a window a/c -electric heat unit, it is a GE Model #AJJ11DFV2, Mfg Date 06/95, the unit heats up to approx 80 deg inside building temp then shuts off for approx 30 min. to restart, when I cool the t-stat it will come on right away, blower motor and a/c unit work fine, heater protector doens not trip, I believe the t-stat may need to be calibrated, thank you for your time.
