I have a G E air conditioner Model number aew10ajs1. If the air conditioner has not been run for while I can start it from the breaker on the cord I can set the temperature the compressor comes on and it will work normally for several minutes then the green light that tell you it is on the set temp. comes on it beeps and the setting goes up to room temp. at this point none of the buttons on my touch pad will work
