2 I had the same problem with the Lifesaver smoke dectector 1275. I replaced the battery and the chirping did not stop. I found the manual online and it said that you can only use certain name brand batteries. These are also listed on the door of the battery compartment. I know it sounds crazy but I went and bought one of the listed batteries and it worked.

0 I changed the battery and it still chirps. How do I stop it from chirping?

0 I removed the alarm while painting upon putting the battery back on it goes on and stays on unless I remove it. HELP!
