Question About Frigidaire Stove PLES389ECH
Just replaced control panel cover on PLES389ECH st...

Just replaced control panel cover on PLES389ECH stove/oven. When I powered up the red lock icon illuminated. Oven works fine. Burners cannot be operated. Burner control display shows dashes. Tried resetting breaker but didn’t solve problem. Can you help?

0 Hello perexco, thank you for your post! Based on the symptoms you are describing, the keypad on your Frigidaire range (PLES389ECH) may possibly be locked. If the ESEC feature was select, it will not allow you to operate your range. Try pressing CLEAR/OFF for roughly 5 seconds to cancel the LOCK CONTROL. If that does not correct the issue, you may want to connect with a local servicer who will be best equipped to pinpoint the problem. If you don’t know a qualified technician, you can use the service locator option on the manufacturer site to find one near you.
