I need to hook up a drainage hose to my Frigidaire...

I need to hook up a drainage hose to my Frigidaire 50-pint FDL50S1 dehumidifier, for continuous drainage, but the standard garden-style hose we bought from Wal-Mart doesn't seem to fit the internal connection. What do I do?
