0 Hello scardoherman, I am happy to assist you! Often this occurs because the dehumidifier could be experiencing a low charge or has a sealed system leak, which usually results in an uneven frost pattern. Is there frost only on the evaporator coil or the entire evaporator? The unit might possibly be repairable if the frost is only on part of the evaporator coil, and not the entire evaporator. Because it is a smaller appliance, repairs are often more costly than the actual unit replacement. I would double-check first just in case as most parts (if available) can be purchased directly from the manufacturer or through a parts distributor in your area (part numbers do vary). Is your appliance still in warranty? If so, you might want to reach out directly to the manufacturer to determine your coverage and if there is any potential remedy in that regard. Best of luck!
