4 Hello triste037 – I am happy to assist you! During the Energy Saver mode the compressor shuts off, the fan will continue to run for another three minutes, then shut off until cooling is needed, as sensed by the room temperature control. Then it may come on for approximately three minutes to sense whether cooling is needed, and then it will go off for ten minutes. It will continue doing this to sample the room air for as long as necessary. During the Sleep Pad mode, typically the selected temperature will increase by 2 degrees F 30 minutes after the mode is selected. The temperature will then increased by another 2 degrees F after an additional 30 minutes. The new temperature will maintained for about 7 hours before it returns to the originally selected temperature. This ends the “SLEEP” mode and the air conditioner will continue to operate as originally programmed. This option can be cancelled at any time during operation by pressing “SLEEP” mode, “ON/OFF”, “FAN ONLY” or the up and down buttons, on either the Control or the Remote. I hope this information helps to some degree. I you have any additional questions, please feel free to reconnect!
