this is the right model . without me setting anyth...

this is the right model . without me setting anything it started beeping and the timer light came on. now it shows 0.5 and every half hour i think it starts beeping a searies of bees and goes from the temp to that number. i never set the timer and how do i get the dang beeping to stop?
