0 Good Morning mglt1988, thank you for your post! I understand your Frigidaire air conditioner (FRA082AT7) is not cooling properly. Here are some simple troubleshooting tips to help resolve this issue: • When was the last time the filter was cleaned? Restricted air flow from a soiled air filter can cause air conditioner to not cool properly. Make sure there is nothing blocking the airflow to your air conditioner like blinds, drapes, furniture, etc. which could restrict air distribution. • Outside condenser coil may be blocked or dirty. Make sure the condenser coil is clean and not restricted by bushes, trees, debris or winter covers. If unit is a Through-the-Wall model make sure the proper grille has been installed. • Verify that the plug is not damaged and try resetting your air conditioner. This can be done by pressing the GFI plug on your appliance. • Outside temperature very hot. Set FAN on high speed to bring air past cooling coils more frequently. • Do not use an extension cord. If issue persists, I would suggest contacting an experienced service technician to determine the precise cause or the manufacturer directly if there is any potential remedy in that regard.
