5 I wish I would have looked on the web before buying this model 9120B. There is nothing positive or helpful listed about it. It won't quit beeping the company gives really no clues how to get it to stop. A person can not even find the manual for it on the website!!

4 I am also looking for the manual. Mine keeps chirping even with battery replacement. I finally ripped it off the wall, it was driving me crazy. Any ideas other than buying a different one???

0 I think the url listed above is incorrect. Here is where I found it:http://homeappliance.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/first_alert/9120b.html. I had to call BRK who said to MAKE SURE NOT to use heavyduty or "generic" 9V batteries as they will continue to make the unit chirp. The recommended a standard Eveready 9V. Hope this helps!

0 Use ONLY standard Eveready batteries in replacement. NOT heavyduty or generic brands as they will continue to make the unit chirp. This is per BRK customer service.

0 WHY in the World is it that First Alert has NO information/instructions/manual that shows HOW the replacement of the battery works? PATHETIC
