Question About First Alert Smoke Alarm SA300
First Alert SA 300 smoke alrm...

just bought how does the battery go in to device I place it in but it does not appear it touches any contacts i don't even see how it could work?

2 The battery makes its contact when the battery door is closed. Put the battery in, close the door, and look for the red test light to blink.
