Question About Firex Smoke Alarm FX 1218 120-473B
Replace Battery...

I found the manual for the 110-1011E, but it is not quite what I have. I have tried prying and poking the back plate, but cannot get it off to reach the battery. I don't want to break anything by forcing things too hard. Is this procedure available, or is the model so old it's time to replace it altogether?
