We disconnected a couple of these smoke alarms to paint the rooms. When we plug the units back into the AC power, the alarms continues to go off. Is there something that we are doing wrong? Does the power need to be off to reconnect the smoke alarms? Is there some sort of reset button that needs to be pushed? Any advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
