Beeping smoke alarm...

My smoke alarm is beeping and I can't remove the battery cover to replace the battery.

0 Hey, I could get the batteries out, but it kept beeping, even with fresh batteries! It only stopped a few days after I got all batteries out, and kept them out. Makes no sense to me, and I wonder if it will start again when I put them back.

0 After 5 years, my detectors have started to beep. I had to break it to get the batteries out. I took the whole think down, and it was still beeping in my hand. QUESTION: How do you get the batteries and replaced. All help apprecited. Diagrams would help.

0 try cleaning all dust ,dirt out of vents/use hair dryer on no heat or vacumm.
