unable to find manual and unable to see serial #'s...

unable to find manual and unable to see serial #'s on unit. It goes on high only and is ok cold. Tenant keeps unplugging it to use outlet for other things would that effect the programming? She has a plug strip attached to outlet so not necessary for her to do this.
