Should red light stay on while unit is operating to clean filter? How & when to drain water?

0 I had the same problem, remove the filter and wash with water and some soap, rinse well and dry well. Place it again and turn the unit on, if the light does not turn off, unplug the unit and wait about 10 seconds, reconnect the unit and should disappear the red light. This worked for me, hope it works for you ... Good luck ...
