I need a manual for a fedders moldel A6Q10F2A .Need to know how to get the front cover off.

4 Take your filter out. Get a flashlight and look in the slot where you just took the filter out. In the center you will see a philips head screw. Take it out. Then the cover will pop right off. You may have to start it with a flat screw driver on the top (just above the air vents. Hope this helps you.

0 I was told by Fedders that it is not supposed to drain. It uses the water to pre-cool the air so the unit doesn't have to work as hard. I am not a tech, but it sounds to me like your coil is dirty. The sell coil cleaner at hardware stores. There are lots of videos online to show you how exactly to do it.
